The interior has been restored to its Victorian grandeur and features period?style wallpapers, an incredible art collection, and many antiques. The original woodwork and light fixtures have been restored and add to the ambiance. Guest rooms are all individually decorated and feature Victorian reproduction queen sized beds, comfortable seating, TV?s, telephones and en-suite private baths. Some rooms include antique oversized claw foot tubs. One room is handicapped accessible. Breakfast features fresh fruits, freshly prepared baked goods, eggs, pancakes, Soufflés or French toast. The Catskill Mountains feature plenty of outdoor activities, as well as outstanding scenery. The Hunter Mountain peak is opposite the front porch and the ski resort is a half-mile from the inn. The arts community in the village of Hunter is one quarter of a mile to the west and it features two movie screens, a performing arts center, organic produce market, bookstore and several places to eat. A trolley makes several circuits on weekends to the three villages on the mountain top throughout the day, insuring you have plenty to do, places to shop and eat if you are activity minded.
