Local Area Details

Villaricos is an un-spoilt and relaxed fishing village in Almeria, a region known for having the finest climate in Spain. A few miles away from the more commercial Mojacar Playa and the wonderful Mojacar Pueblo.

Ideally located within easy reach of excellent golf courses, sandy beaches and a variety of Spanish towns, Villaricos is a wonderful holiday destination if you want to relax and get a real taste of Spain.

In between Villaricos and Mojacar is the excellent Vera Playa water park, with more pools, flumes and fun than you know what to do with.

The excellent Desrt Spring golf course is only a very short drive and is truly spectacular. This is the only desert styled course outside of the U.S.A.

Villaricos also has a small selection of very friendly restaurants and bars (all much cheaper than in Mojacar itself - great when you consider that Villaricos is so much prettier and intimate).

Spend an evening walking along the promendade at Villarics, strolling by the two small harbours at either end of the village and you will never want to leave.
