This apartment is located in a 3-floors building in a quiet residential area of Sao Pedro de Moel, only 300 meters from the beach. Within 300 meters one finds supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Marinha Grande is 9 Km, Fatima 13 Km and Lisbon 130 Km distance.
Apartment T3, on the ground floor, consists of one living room with dining area and TV (portuguese channels only), 3 bedrooms (one with ensuite shower room), fully equipped kitchentte (dishwasher, washing machine and microwave incl.) and a complete nathroom. Sleeps 6 to 7 persons (folding extra bed available), self catering.
Linen and towels change 1x weekly.

Local Area Details

Sao Pedro de Moel is by far the best preserved "little village by the sea" of central Portugal and it makes a good base to explore the region.
A splendid beach procteted by the shell of houses. The small hotels and magnificent sea-water pool over the beach are the most important things for the tourists. You may practice here several sports such as surf, beach-volleyball and tennis. People do jogging and biking along the "Volta aos Cinco".
Near the lighthouse you can fish, specially because in the northern part of the beach you find rocks with sea food that attract several species of fish that, together with sea food, are usually served in the restaurants of S.Pedro.
At night, some locals exchange their shorts or bikinis by a tray and serve, probably "the best beer in the world".
From here, you can visit nearby towns such as Leiria and its castle, or the monasteries of Batalha or Alcobaca. And if you like local ceramics, at Caldas da Rainha you will find fantastic mugs.
