Situated in a quiet suburb of Lisbon, it allows easy access to the sights of Lisbon, Estoril, Cascais, Mafra and Sintra as well as to the many beaches on the Tagus estuary. There is swimming, tennis, golf and horse-riding available nearby (more details available on request) and good restaurants in the surrounding area. Note for those who choose not to hire a car: there are bus stops on the door-step of the property. Journey time to Lisbon centre 20-25 mins and to Sintra 25-30m.
The Property is located in the quiet suburb of Lisbon, Queluz. It is easily accessible by car from the airport via the IC19 or A9 roads (10-15m), or by train from Entrecampos station to Queluz station where there's a bus service to the door step of the property (total journey from airport, 40-50m). Furthermore the bus service runs every 15m from the property?s doorstep to the Luz Stadium (journey aprox. 30m).
Local Area DetailsQueluz Queluz is famous for his palace, 'Palᣩo Nacional de Queluz', in the rococo style, also called 'little Versailles'. It is served by countless roads and several public transportations connecting to the capital. There are some industries and a growing commerce, including malls and movie theatres.
Day Trips Lisbon is best visited by train from Queluz Railway Station. Journey takes about 20 minutes to the terminal station, Rossio. There is a bus service from the doorstep of the property to Colegio Militar Bus/Tube Interchange, home of ?Luz Stadium? and shopping centre ?Colombo?. (Journey 30m) Historic sites which can be visited by car in a day include: Coimbra (Ancient University), Fatima (Shrine), Mafra (Monastery), Batalha (Cathedral), Obidos (Picturesque Walled Village) and obviously Sintra (with it's lovely Palᣩo da Pena), only 15-20 minutes away.
Sporting facilities There are excellent golf courses close by. Guincho, one of the most famous wind-surfing beaches in Europe is 25 minutes away. Horse riding and tennis are also available nearby. (Details available on request). Other places include the beaches on Tagus estuary, where amongst the most famous are Cascais and Estoril, accessible in 20m by car.
